| Further Description/Back Story |
A rectangular box shaped stand-off for the engine was cut from a block of ash. It affords wonderful vibration damping characteristics which combined with the impeccable balancing of the Zenoah, result in an extremely smooth running engine: not the slightest hint of flutter in any of the control surfaces with the engine idling at 1600 rpm. |
