Take any easy flying, high wing or shoulder mounted plane, bolt a pair of floats on the bottom, you will never regret it.
Die with memories, not regrets, and I mean that in the nicest way possible

We are currently restoring this 30+-year-old Schneider racer to flying condition for the 30-year reunion of the very first Schneider Cup Giant Scale Reenactment which will be a part of the 34th Annual London Bridge Seaplane Classic. The reunion will feature a number of the original giant scale Schneider racers plus a number of brand new aircraft that are currently being built to take part in this historic event and we hope to see many of you there on November 8th, 9th, and 10th 2019.

I have fond memories of the event last year and all the wonderful friendly campers. Thank you for a great article. Hope to visit again from BC Canada one day. Cheers Sparky.

Sounds idyllic, and a heap of fun, although I find the idea of operating off water a bit daunting!
