747-100 Space Shuttle Carrier

747-100 Space Shuttle Carrier

Michael Roznick of Arlington, Texas took an HSD-Jets 747 and morphed it into the 747-100 Space Shuttle carrier. The NASA operated SCA version of the 747 was used during early glide tests of the shuttle and to move Shuttles between Edwards AFB in California where it frequently landed, and the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The model is a huge foamy with 4 90-mm EDF engines and features a 110″ wingspan weighing in at 35 pounds with batteries. We can’t wait to see it when the Shuttle model is done!
